Carra and Collymore Destroy Balotelli on Twitter

Ah Mario, naturally gifted, naturally stupid, one of those players with bags of potential who has never even come close to realizing it. The Italian has traversed the Premier League and Serie A, signing for managers who think that they can crack the Mario code before realizing that they haven’t quite got what it takes.

Balotelli has just signed from French club Nice, who somehow think that the striker will come good for them, perhaps they know things that the rest of the World doesn’t about Super Mario Balotelli. Regardless, Jurgen Klopp will be over the moon that he has offloaded the troublesome Italian who spent last season on loan at AC Milan.

Balotelli is essentially the hot potato of the footballing World, being passed around like a cheap slut at a house party, never performing very well but doing enough to keep everyone happy. It’s a shame that we won’t get to see any more Mario exploits in English football anymore, his fireworks in the bathroom, his throwing money out of his car dressed up as Santa or his famous ‘Why Always Me’ T-shirt that he exposed during the Manchester derby, but just like that house party slut, everyone has their day.

Following the announcement of Balotelli’s move away from Liverpool, Jamie Carragher and Stan Collymore pulled no punches in telling the World their opinion of the enigmatic frontman, and we’re pretty sure that everyone will agree.

Balotelli. Give him 6 months at Nice, then an “ambitious” Championship club, etc etc.
