Shots Fired As Dani Alves Trolls Guardiola and City

It is no secret that Manchester City are spending their transfer window hunting for a right back to fill the void left by Pablo Zabaleta, so far however, they have had little success. Spurs have been digging their heels in with regard to £50 million rated Kyle Walker and their recent attempts to lure Dani Alves from Juventus have just taken a hit after the banana-eating right back chose PSG over Man City and Guardiola’s impeccable suit and sweater combination.

It has been revealed that PSG managed to double Alves’ offer from City to an eye watering £230k per week in their efforts to bag the Brazilian from under the nose of cash rich City.

In Alves’ first press conference he decided to take an opportunity to rub some salt into the wound of the Manchester side and their manager when asked about how he felt that he may have hurt Guardiola’s feelings.

“If Pep Guardiola & City feel hurt, I am sorry… I have come here to be a champion.”

You can’t knock the lad to be fair, £230k per week a pretty favourable chance of winning a 2-horse race of a league, although we somehow doubt that the City outfit will be particularly hurt by Alves’ decision to snub them for the French outfit, and you can guarantee that the pair will play each other in the Champions League this season so that Pep and co can try out for revenge, those UEFA fixers are already on it!

That leaves City in flux as they widen their search for a right back and look like they’ll be forced to either stump up their offer for Kyle Walker or perhaps just play Aguero back there, Pep has never really given much of a shit about his defence anyway, as the Monaco games in the Champions League and his election to put Claudio Bravo in goal more than displayed.
