Watch the Moment Hope Solo Gets Ditched From National Team

After her ‘no fucks given’ comments leading up to the Rio Olympics and after getting knocked out by Sweden, US goalkeeper Hope Solo has made far more enemies and friends, in fact, most of us think she’s a bit of a cunt. It seems that so too does the United States FA as they have just terminated her national team contract after 17 years of the shot-stopper representing her country.

Solo has courted much controversy during her glittering career with the US women’s team most recently before the Rio Olympics when she uploaded pictures on social media of her ‘Zika virus protection kit’ which consisted of over-the-top protection from the disease. Since the pictures surfaced, Solo has been mercilessly trolled on both social media and in the World Cup stadiums where the fans taunted her with chants of ‘ZIKAAAA’ every time she touched the ball.

After Solo and her countrywomen were sent packing from the World Cup by a resolute Sweden team, the US goalkeeper blasted the victors as “a bunch of cowards,” thus making her even less likeable.

Redemption has come for many as not only was Solo cut from the US national team, but the whole thing has been caught on camera as part of a documentary, gotta love the US!! Check out the video below as the goalie completely loses her shit when she finds out the news.
